Lee headshot 2.jpgI am Lee from Coco Crochet Lee, WIP Wednesday and Stitched Together.  I am a busy mom and maker.  You can see me featured on the PBS Show Knit and Crochet Now. Come and crochet with me every WIP Wednesday in my group.  Together we do a little stitch’n and visit with talented featured makers.

I am a crocheter at heart.  It’s my passion and an art form that truly drives me to create.  Who doesn’t want to wear art right!  Although crochet is what I do for work, knitting is what I do for me.  A little selfish knitting goes a long way.  That’s one of the reasons I enjoy our Stitched together group.  We are a talented group of makers (some of who are featured in this countdown) who are hosting monthly Make Alongs (CAL/KAL).  The best part about being a Maker is the community we’ve created.

I was introduced to the fiber arts like many crafters by my great-grandmother. She was determined that if I ever needed to repair some socks or make myself a sweater then I would know how. Little did she know that it has led to a rather large yarn hoarding addiction and fascination with needles. As a life long crafter I am always learning new techniques and improving my skills.
