Some of our favorite fall projects are the Plastic Canvas Crafts. It’s not hard to see why.  Plastic Canvas crafting is a beautiful art form and we are lucky to have an incredible staff of Plastic Canvas Designers.  It’s a little like embroidery, and it’s a little bit like sculpture with yarn. For this Make-Along we’ll be crafting both the Autumn Harvest Mason Jar Kit and the Spooky Halloween Mason Jar kit

These kits include

  • Medium Weight Picture Wire
  • Ribbon
  • Size 4 Worsted Weight Craft Yarn
  • 3 Sheets of Plastic Canvas
  • Mary Maxim Pattern
  • 18 gauge tapestry needle
  • Check out our unboxing video.

If this is your first time working with plastic canvas, make sure to stay tuned as we’ll be sharing our tips and tricks during our step by step Make-Along on this blog and on Facebook.  Join our Plastic Canvas group on Facebook.

I was introduced to the fiber arts like many crafters by my great-grandmother. She was determined that if I ever needed to repair some socks or make myself a sweater then I would know how. Little did she know that it has led to a rather large yarn hoarding addiction and fascination with needles. As a life long crafter I am always learning new techniques and improving my skills.

  • I’m glad to know I’m not the only yarn hoarder in the world. I love the look and feel of yarn. The colors are like eye candy Yarn is irresistible. As far as addictions go, this one is relatively benign. Only not quite enough storage room
