We all have them. Tiny bits and pieces of yarn. Not really enough to do much with, but we don’t want it to go to waste. There are a lot of projects you can do with just one or two yards of yarn. And what about those 2-inch pieces that you cut off after you are done weaving in ends? There are a lot of things you can do with those pieces. If you have children you can save them to glue onto their paper crafts or even fill a clear vase with them. It will make a great centerpiece with a lot of color and it will make a great conversation piece. You can tie them into loops to make your own FREE place markers.
For longer pieces or small balls of yarn that you have lying around your house, it is always hard to decide what to do with them. You can make newborn hats, flower accessories for the hats, and you can make simple jewelry for children. Here are some other patterns that require minimal yarn:
Snowman Ornament to make for your tree or as a gift.
Doll Clothes are a wonderful addition to any little girls’ playthings.
Knit doll clothes to help add some pizazz to every little dolls wardrobe.
Flower Coaster great for any household.
