Meet the Crochetpreneur®

Hi, I’m Pamela Grice aka the Crochetpreneur®. You might know me from my design blog, Made with a Twist, or from my Crochetpreneur® resources like the blog, courses, retreat, podcast and business academy that I host to help crocheters learn to turn yarn into money! That’s right, after building a super profitable crochet business, I combined my background as a psychotehrapist with my love for crochet to help other yarn lovers go from overwhelmed maker/designer to profitable, rockstar, artisan-entrepreneur.
As a designer, I enjoy color, texture, and playful ideas. I’m inspired by people and their stories and love to create designs that highlight the wearer’s natural beauty.  My designer is to create designs and products that, when worn, make people feel great. My design style is feminine and warm with a side of hygge and I hope my customers feel that same cozy warmth each time they put on or make one of my designs.
When I’m not crocheting, I can be found at our new mountaintop homestead located on the southern slope of America’s mountain, Pikes Peak, where my husband and I are building our dream home. For now, we’re living in our camper and weathering the cold while we wait for spring to break ground and start construction on “the ranch that crochet built.”

Introducing the Snow Day Crochet Hood with Mask

The design I’m sharing with you was created several years ago as protection from winter’s chill but can, also, be used as a different kind of protection when lined with cotton or a filter. (Note, I’m not making any claims as to the medical benefits of the product. It was simply designed as a mask for aesthic and cold protection.) The pattern uses two Mary Maxim yarns. When you combine the gorgeous striping of Mary Maxim Marvelous Chunky with Mary Maxim Titan, you can whip up this crochet hood with mask in no time and it is so soft and warm, you won’t want to take it off!
Today’s free pattern includes instructions to make the hood for infants, toddlers, children, teens, women, and men. When you add the detachable mask, it will become the perfect gift for winter 2020!
I hope you enjoy the design and will visit Made with a Twist, in the future, for more of my designs and special events.
