We are so close to Christmas, and this countdown is winding down to the big day. Only 4 more days until Christmas. Today our featured designer is the youngest of our designers but one who turns yarn into incredible Amigurumi characters. Make sure to follow Tommy from Snips & Stitches on Instagram.
Hello friend! I’m Tommy, the 17-year-old designer behind all the cute and cuddly things at Snips & Stitches! I’ve been crocheting for a little over 3 years now, and each stitch makes me fall in love with crochet over and over again!
I started my crochet journey in 2016 after being diagnosed with a chronic illness. During my extended hospital stays, I would crochet baby hats to give to the families with babies being treated at the hospital. I then discovered amigurumi, and I have fallen in love with the magic of creating toys! When I’m not crocheting, you can find me painting, sewing, and paper crafting.
FREE Amigurumi Snowman Pattern
This snowman was inspired by my Aunt, who adores all snowmen! I made this pattern with the idea that other crocheters may be looking for a quick, and fun project to make as a gift for a loved one too! Let me tell you, if you are that maker, look no further! This project can be made in a few hours, and it’ll be the perfect addition to any Christmas tree!
I used a Mary Maxim sport weight yarn, and it was perfect for this project! Grab your yarn, hook, and other supplies, and get ready to crochet! If you like my snowman, you may enjoy more of my Amigurumi patterns. Download my Amigurumi Snowman here.
